Faigy Reizman – Director of North Jerusalem Parent-Child Center
Faigy is the director of the Parent-Child center “Horiya” Yad Rachel, which serves the Haredi community in Northern Jerusalem. Faigy joined the Yad Rachel team in 2013, her role includes management and training of professional staff, leading the treatment process, building treatment programs that fit the needs of the family, Resolution Committees concentration center, direct care in some families, and co-operation with welfare offices in northern Jerusalem. The treatment programs for the Haredi community are uniquely tailored to fit their needs and are created in partnership with key Rabbis and community figures. Faigy has a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Bar Ilan University and is a certified instructor specialising in group therapy and the treatment of children and sexual abuse within the family. Over the years, Faigy has acquired extensive experience in working with families and children at risk. In the past, Faigy worked at a multipurpose residence for mental health, a private clinic and as a volunteer in the community.
