Avraham Bernstein, Deputy Director of After School Centers

Avraham started working at Yad Rachel in 2010 as the head of staff for the Jerusalem centers and is now the Deputy Director of After School Centers. He is the main contact with the various authorities and guides the teams within the region. He received his BA in Social Work from Hebrew University, and his masters in Non-profit Management. He completed his IDF service in Golani and is an Officer in the IDF Reserves. Avraham worked as a workshop coordinator for at-risk youth in project “M’nifa”, and was a counselor for a few years in “Raim”, a center for children before adoption. Avraham is married and the father of five children.
