 Dear Friends,
Rosh Hashanah is a time to think about the year that was, and to dare to dream about the coming year. I want to share with you some of the most impressive accomplishments we have achieved during the past year, thanks to you:
- We took care of children and families from every kind of Israeli population groups: children whose parents lack the means to take care of their basic needs, children of new immigrants struggling to be absorbed in the new country, children of migrant workers and refugees, at risk in families, children from orthodox families and more.
- We've started new programs, "Children Create Art For Social Change" We used various arts as a tool that allows to teach children more successful dialogue.
- We've provided assistance to more than 1800 beneficiaries.
With the end of the year, I look at our work with pride and satisfaction. I am completely confident in our ability to meet new challenges, with the help of a professional, well trained and equipped team, whose creativity and excellence have become our hallmark, and with all the support of our friends and partners, old and new. Recognition and appreciation we get among authorities and therapeutic community is a direct result of long-standing support and faith in our path joint.
Next year, we will continue to expand our service, and will reach around 2,000 beneficiaries.
Together with Youth and Child Services Departament of a Welfare with we are holding a nationwide seminar "After-School Center As A Therapeutic Environment" with 600 participants expected.
Our growth and our firm standing are thanks to you! We want to thank you for your continuous support of Yad Rachel, which allows us to reach out and touch the lives and hearts of children and families we support. Knowing that I could always turn to you for help has allowed us to dare to embark on new and unique projects, being sure that we are supported by a network of friends.
